  • EDIBLE ARRANGEMENTS

     

    Figure Eight Consulting has been working with the franchise owner of two Edible Arrangement stores located in Memphis, Tennessee. In 2016, Figure Eight Consulting provided a digital media campaign that positioned both stores in the top 5% for sales during the international chain’s biggest revenue generating holiday.

     

    During Mother’s Day 2016, another top-grossing holiday for the international retail chain, Figure Eight Consulting produced a digital marketing campaign aligned with the national initiatives. The campaign led to nearly 20,000 impressions and 80 contest submissions and resulted in an increase in sales from the May 2015 holiday.

     

    Figure Eight Consulting is currently working to establish corporate partnerships to increase awareness about sustaining healthy lifestyles for Memphis residents and students.

  • MISS UNIVERSE ORGANIZATION

     

    For the 2014 and 2015 Miss USA Pageant, Figure Eight Consulting provided a digital marketing campaign for the Miss Universe Organization and the city’s tourism department, Visit Baton Rouge. The digital campaign, titled Krewe de Crown, was a fun a light-hearted way to interactively connect pageant fans with contestants while marketing some of Baton Rouge’s most popular attractions.

     

    The campaign contributed to the $2.6 million in hotel revenue and positioned Baton Rouge as a premiere travel destination on an international platform. The campaign garnered over 75,000 social media impressions.

     

    Due to the campaign’s popularity, the local newspaper (The Advocate) offered the digital media team an online blog dedicated to the pageant beat. After the overwhelming response to the 2014 campaign’s success, Figure Eight Consulting was invited to execute a second campaign during the 2015 pageant competition.

  • STATE OF LOUISIANA

     

    Figure Eight Consulting saved the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services thousands of dollars by converting recertification courses into an online training format. Over the course of the 2014 fiscal year, Figure Eight Consulting was able to convert seven full certification courses from a traditional classroom format, saving the state significant costs including travel and transportation for its staff of counselors. The project also reduced employee training time, allowing faster certification completion and an increase in the number of children assigned to foster homes.

     

  • WAFB

     

    In 2015, Figure Eight Consulting created a signature event for local businesses in Baton Rouge to network and learn about business development. Forty business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs met for an evening of information exchanges and collaboration.

     

    Due to a news feature on the highest rated news station in the city (WAFB), the demand for more events of this kind was developed in Baton Rouge, creating a new market for networking events throughout South Louisiana.

  • THE CITY OF NEW ROADS

     

    Figure Eight Consulting provided corporate training for the City of New Roads by holding sessions for small business owners on topics like social media marketing, branding strategies, and customer service techniques.

     

    These Sessions for Success were a part of the first event series of its kind, allowing small business owners to learn about business development and online marketing strategies. The sessions titled: All-In-One Social, Using LinkedIn, and Customer Service allowed an interactive environment to discuss tactics that ultimately made businesses more competitive in a digital environment.

     

  • ADVANTAGE SERVICES

     

    Figure Eight Consulting increased sales by 10% for a local inspection company by developing weekly email communications about services and information benefiting prospective and current homeowners. The multimedia newsletter included video tutorials and interactive descriptions about preventative measures to save homeowners money.

     

    As a compliment to the weekly newsletter, information was also distributed via the Advantage Services Facebook page to increase awareness about the company’s services and special offers. As a separate project, Figure Eight Consulting provided web development to Advantage Services to rebrand the company as the premiere destination for home inspection and pest control in Louisiana.

  • LULU’S CAJUN BURGERS

     

    Lulu’s Cajun Burgers

    In 2013, Lulu’s Cajun Burgers trusted Figure Eight Consulting to create their vision of a full LLC and make it into a reality. A branding package was developed that entailed a brand new logo, business cards, invoice, memo stationery, t-shirts, and event signage.

    The branding materials were used for Lulu’s biggest annual event, the Harvest Festival on False River. This event boasted over 10,000 participants in 2014 and nearly 12,000 in 2015. Lulu’s Cajun Burgers grossed its highest profit ever in 2015 as a result of more efficient invoicing and follow up methods due to coaching and branding from Figure Eight Consulting.

  • MARITIME COASTAL COMPLIANCE

     

    Maritime Coastal Compliance (MCC) trusted Figure Eight Consulting to design its custom logo to assist with brand identity for the new startup company.

  • OUTDOOR FENCING UNLIMITED, LLC

     

    Working with its nonprofit association, the Good Times Bass Club, Outdoor Fencing Unlimited, LLC received strategic planning from Figure Eight Consulting in order to maximize participation for its first annual charity event: a school supply drive.

     

    The first event gathered nearly 200 families to enjoy free food and supply-filled backpacks from donors like Walmart, Planned Parenthood, and Figure Eight Consulting as well as a host of other local businesses in the area.

  • SUGAR HUES

     

    As a new startup in the dessert food area, Sugar Hues came to Figure Eight Consulting for coaching to begin its business. After coming to us with an idea, Figure Eight Consulting was able to develop a branding package and a business plan to get started delivering its delicious treats.

  • FISHING FOR BACKPACKS

     

    For its second annual event, Fishing for Backpacks came to Figure Eight Consulting for business coaching. In addition to an event flyer and promotion, Figure Eight Consulting was able to develop memo stationery and donation letters to lead to a successful school supply drive.

     

    The back to school event was originally created for families that were having a difficult time providing for their school-aged children. This year, donors included: Figure Eight Consulting, Walmart, Planned Parenthood, Sam’s Club, Lowe’s and Outdoor Fencing Unlimited, LLC. State senators, families, and donors were all able to see the impact that the event had on the Baton Rouge community.

  • TEAM 225

     

    Team 225, a new real-estate startup in the Greater Baton Rouge area, came to Figure Eight Consulting for a new logo. The customized logo was used for branding purposes affiliated with the company.

  • LOUISIANA RE-ENTRY COALITION

     

    The REAL Help Conference is annually sponsored by the Re-Entry Alliance in Louisiana. As a pro bono project, Figure Eight Consulting provided design services to assist the Louisiana Reentry Advisory Council with its mission.

     

    The Louisiana Reentry Advisory Council holds its annual conference to bring reentry coalitions and reentry stakeholders from across the state together to network and share best practice solutions.

  • WAFB- LIVE IN THE SKY

     

    Inspired by the different platforms of art, Figure Eight Consulting worked with Live in the Sky to provide media relations services for promotion of the annual event. After securing a media spot on the highest rated news channel in the city, Figure Eight Consulting provided coaching services to maximize the effect of future media coverage.

     

    The art-themed networking event gathered over 400 young professionals throughout Louisiana for a day of activities and creative showcases.

    The Go Baton Rouge or GoBR campaign was created by Visit Baton Rouge to develop awareness about Baton Rouge as a travel destination for tourists. While working with the Miss USA Pageant and Miss Universe Organization, Figure Eight Consulting was able to contribute content to the Go Baton Rouge campaign.

  • AKA SHIRT DESIGN

     

    Figure Eight Consulting worked with sorority members to develop a tshirt design for their reunion. The successful shirt design was provided to a local printer to support ongoing efforts to increase awareness about small businesses and supporting local merchants.
